You’ll love how they are able design in a variety of styles, making their work unique and tailored to each client. Enjoy!
This kitchen designed for a suburban lake house is a weekend retreat. The client wanted to transform the home into their primary residence. Using the mix of male and females that would be using the kitchen, the kitchen is a beautiful blend of sophisticated masculinity and femininity. Pairing ivory cabinets and a light granite counter top with dark cabinets and a brown velvet granite counter top, the masculine features arose.
The perimeter of the kitchen of the kitchen is lighter and more feminine, allowing the stunning lake view to shine through. The focal point of the kitchen is the island that doubles as a four-sided buffet for guests. Using various shape lighting fixtures keep the design vibrant and interesting.
The inspiration behind the rustic and warm reds of this kitchen transformation was inspired by the client’s love of the Northwoods in Wisconsin. Deviating from the norm, Susan used a mix of three colors/finishes on the cabinets. Another unique element in this project was the unified kitchen and laundry room. By eliminating the door between the areas and wrapping the cabinets around., the flow of traffic was made more accessible, perfect for the home of a family of three with boys!
“Bongo” style bar stools accompany the large center island and allow for an open sight line from the kitchen into the family room behind it. Two vintage-inspired chandeliers hang in the center to bring out the historic inspiration of the area.
With an open floor plan in this newly built heritage home, the goal was to be consistent with the colors, textures, and finishes. Using a few square feet of slate from the family room to inspire the color palette, the design is full of muted greens and creamy-gold neutrals. We love the tile backsplash above the oven that brings the entire look together.
Client’s for this northern suburban family residence love to entertain and needed a comfortable space where everyone could enjoy themselves. Inspired by the beautiful view of the backyard that leads to a forest preserve, the kitchen is kept wide with minimal lighting fixtures. The cherry Woodmode cabinets bring the lovely forest view inside along with the natural oak floors.
The island features seating for four with “rush” stools. One of our favorites parts of this kitchen is the office space! There was enough space to include a desk for computer work and bill paying!
