Mykonos is a beautiful Island located in Greece, and this weeks inspiration for our Interior Design Travel Spotlight. Outstanding beaches, sunny weather (practically year round), and cosmopolitan nightlife, make this Island one of the top tourist destinations in all of Greece.
While perusing the internet for inspiration we found this stunning boutique hotel called San Giorgio in Mykonos. This hotel immediately caught our attention with its “bohemian luxury” slogan, and the design to back it up. The Greek lifestyle is portrayed beautifully with the iconic use of white washed wall buildings, and “a sense of history, heritage, style and simplicity”. Authenticity was an integral part of their design process. Join us as we take a mini tour of this serene Greek getaway.
Beautiful hand picked rugs, and beach wood furniture, create an authentic Greek experience. In true bohemian spirit TV’s are left out of the bedrooms to encourage travelers to venture outside their hotel rooms.
A muted color palette, and minimalist approach, shifts the focus to the quality and craftsmanship of these stunning artisanal items.
A great open space to meet with friends, relax, or even get some work done (shh don’t worry we wont tell anyone).
These stunning hammocks, and carefully selected accessories, are all hand-crafted and tell a local story. They also create warmth and sense of harmony in this otherwise white washed space.
Situated on one of the most scenic areas of the island between Paradise and Paraga Island, San Giorgio boasts jaw dropping rooftop views.
